The Millers – Cancelled

Standard

The Millers has been cancelled. I found out yesterday. I’ve only seen the first episode from season 2. I kept missing the airings and haven’t had time to watch them on CBS’ website. From what I read yesterday, the scheduled episode for this week will air. However, it was unknown whether other already produced episodes will continue to air.

The cancellation wasn’t much of a loss for me. The show is ok, but it is nothing compared to CBS’ other comedies. I wish the best of luck to everyone involved with the show.

A to Z and Bad Judge – Cancelled

A to Z and Bad Judge have been cancelled. I found out a few days ago. However, the remaining episodes will continue to air on TV rather than being pulled from the lineup. At least, that’s what we’re told now. I always missed them when they were on TV anyway because they aired during the same time block as Scandal and Reign. (However, we all know that Scandal is the more popular and better show).

That’s unfortunate that these shows were cancelled. I liked both shows to some extent. They may not be the best, but they were somewhat enjoyable. Of course, both shows could’ve been better.

I wish the best of luck to everyone who was involved with both shows.

Mystery Girls – Cancelled

I found out that Mystery Girls was cancelled. Apparently, the announcement was made on September 29, 2014. I suppose I missed it. I actually found out from Deadline a week later. I’m not saddened by the cancellation. The show wasn’t all that. The jokes were “eh.” They could have been funnier. I wish the best of luck to everyone who was involved with the show.

Twisted – Cancelled

twisted

I just found out that Twisted wasn’t renewed by ABC Family. It was announced on August 13, 2014. I read about it on The Hollywood Reporter. I’m late in finding this out. For a while, my brother kept asking me if I heard any news regarding the show. I kept telling him, “I don’t know. I haven’t checked.” What prompted me to look up information today was a recorded episode of Anger Management that I was watching. It had Denise Richards in it. When I saw her, it triggered Twisted for me.

It didn’t seem like ABC Family stated a reason for the cancellation. However, I’m assuming it was due to low ratings.

It is a bummer that the series isn’t going to continue. Season 1 left us with a cliffhanger! Now we won’t get to see what happens next! Well, I wasn’t that interested in the show to begin with. All the lies and secrets were frustrating and annoying to me. It didn’t really peak my interest until the final episode. I would have liked to see what happened next. Since we won’t get to know, I’ll just make up my own conclusion.

I wish the best of luck to everyone who was involved with the show.

Dallas – Cancelled

dallas

I just found out that Dallas isn’t being renewed by TNT. The news came about two days ago (October 3, 2014). I wasn’t really online two days ago, which was why I found out late. The news was posted on the official Dallas Facebook page. A lot of fans are upset and have expressed their disappointment regarding the news. They’ve even started a petition to TNT to reconsider their decision.

It is a bummer that the series isn’t going to continue. Season 3 left us with a cliffhanger! Perhaps the creators should try to pitch the show to other networks. Maybe they already did so in the past and didn’t get picked up by anyone except for TNT. I hope that TNT reconsiders their decision, but they probably won’t.

I wish the best of luck to everyone who was involved with the show.

Dallas – Season 4?

Standard

There might be a fourth season of Dallas! I sure hope so! It wouldn’t be fair to end the show like that… Not after what happened in the season 3 finale. I read Entertainment Weekly’s interview with Cynthia Cidre (executive producer) in which she mentioned that there are already storylines and ideas for season 4 in place. However, she also mentioned that TNT hasn’t officially picked up a fourth season.

I hope that TNT does renew the show for a fourth season. We need season 4! I will be on the lookout for more information.
