New Year’s eve!

Whoa, it’s new year’s eve today. I wonder if I’ll even be able to stay up late. Nowadays I go to sleep early and my body’s used to it somewhat. Well, I’ll try to stay up late. I’ve got to ring in the new year like everyone else haha. I have tomorrow off because my company will be closed in observance of New Year’s day. Smart. No hungover employees will be at work. Well, for us, it’s a paid holiday. I have the same new year’s resolution as I do every year. I don’t really announce it as an official resolution though since I know I won’t ever do anything about it. Hopefully I will be more motivated to do so in 2010! It’s something I really need to do and I shouldn’t prolong it any more than I already have. Oh higher being, please let 2010 be the year I get my act together and change my life. Burger King Whopper

I bought whoppers for everyone in my family today. We have a food shortage at home, so my sister sent me a text message to buy food. I figure I’d get something they’d all eat. My parents aren’t particularly fond of chicken burgers. They prefer beef burgers, so I went to Burger King. I went after work. When I got home and opened my whopper, I saw three small beef patties. I guess they ran out of the big beef patties they use in whoppers. I thought it was funny and clever. They were improvising. It was a challenge for me to keep the three beef patties from falling out of the buns when I ate the whopper! Luckily they didn’t fall out. It’s six hours later and I can still taste the whopper. However, I am still hungry. I won’t eat anything though as I am about to go to bed.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all have a safe and Merry Christmas! There’s not much going on here for me because I actually don’t really care for it. I’m just glad to have the day off and I’m able to relax… Until Monday. My mom and sister went to a Christmas celebration in Stockton with some relatives. My sister was really hellbent on having me go too. I didn’t want to. I don’t like gatherings. She was really irate last night. She kept insisting that my brother and I go. My brother didn’t want to go either. We don’t care about that sort of thing. Of course, my sister kept trying to get us to go. Blah blah blah. She kept saying that she wouldn’t have anyone to talk to. Come on now… There’s plenty of people to talk to. My relatives will be there and she knows them, so she can talk to them. Of course whether they want to talk to each other or not is none of my concern. These are relatives that we aren’t particularly close to. I haven’t actually spoken to them in a long time. Well, I have spoken to them, but not to the point where we had a long conversation. It was rather a short conversation. Anyways, I sent text messages to my friends wishing them a Merry Christmas. Only one of them hasn’t replied back. I don’t know if the message even reached him because every time I text him, he doesn’t text me back. Hopefully my texts reach him or else he’d think I didn’t text him. You never really know with text messages. Once you’ve sent it, it will say that you’ve sent it even though the actual text didn’t go through. I’ve done that before. I’ve sent a text to a number that wasn’t a cell phone number and it said the text went through. I hope everybody else enjoys their Christmas holiday. The year 2009 is coming to an end soon. Can you believe it? It’s almost the year 2010! Where has the time gone? This year whipped by!

Christmas is near… Darn…

Christmas is approaching, but I’m not happy at all. I haven’t cared about Christmas for many, many years. For me, the presents don’t matter. It’s being around a caring family that makes this holiday meaningful. The problem? My family isn’t caring. We’re not like a family at all. There’s always someone bitching and complaining about something. We used to all actually like Christmas. What happened? Greed, selfishness, aggravation, jealousy, and resentment kicked in. The cause? Money. More accurately, the lack of money. That’s why holidays never seem like holidays. Every day is like a hell hole. For once I would like to be happy. I don’t think I’ll ever find happiness of any kind. I hope everyone else has a better holiday than I do.

Imeem

The other day, my brother told me that MySpace bought out Imeem. It really sucks that it happened. I liked going on Imeem. I went on it often. I’ve been a member on it for a few years. I used to be on MySpace, but I left it. I left for a reason. Now that Imeem is a part of that site, it means I would have to go to that site again now. Ugh. I guess I’ll just have to find another music site. I’ve heard of a few and my brother usually finds out about them and goes on them. I liked having an alternative to YouTube. Oh well. It was a business venture I suppose. I remember that a few years ago, Imeem playlists couldn’t even be configured on MySpace when the embedded code was used. I guess that was changed or something. I wouldn’t know since I didn’t go on that site much. I was a member for five years, but I was only active the first year. On the other hand, for Imeem, I went on there from time to time. Sometimes I signed in, but most times I didn’t. Well, Imeem isn’t completely gone, but I’m just sad that it’s not its own site anymore. I didn’t look up any information regarding the merge, but whatever the reason, it still makes me sad knowing that the two sites have merged.

Doctor’s visit

I had a doctor’s appointment today. I found out that I had allergies. I’m guessing it’s a seasonal allergy since the doctor didn’t specify an allergic reaction to anything else. She told me that my symptoms were common allergy symptoms. My symptoms were coughing, stuffy nose, and ears plugging/popping. I had a lot of wax in both of my ears which was why they were plugged. I had my ears cleaned. It felt weird as the process was taking place. At least they got all the wax out! Ick! My doctor told me that in order to keep my nears clean, I am not supposed to put anything in it because it will cause the wax to build up. Well I guess that makes sense because I do use Q-Tips a lot to “clean” my ears. O.o She did say that if I do use Q-Tips, I am to use it on the outside. I also got a Tetanus shot today. I was told it’d be good for ten years. It better be haha. The shot didn’t hurt, but I just don’t like needles. I was also prescribed nasal spray to help clear my nostrils. They really are stuffed! I am supposed to use it every day until I see the doctor again. My next appointment will be about the progression of my well being. I hope the nasal spray works because it sucks having my nose stuffed up all the time. I can’t even smell good food! Haha.

Morning frost

This morning I had frost on my car and car windows. I didn’t really have anything to clear the frost. So, I turned on my heater to defrost it. That didn’t work fast enough. I then went into the house to find something to shovel the frost off. I found a piece of cardboard and a protractor ruler. I grabbed both. I used the protractor ruler to shovel off the frost. It worked. It was either really cold last night or this early morning. The dang frost didn’t even want to melt! Good thing I found the protractor ruler. Otherwise, I would’ve been late for work.
